I am currently looking for another LTZ with no luck. I may just drive my 3800 SC3 Fiero until the 2013 RS comes out. Anyone have a good idea of when it will be released? And the prices of one?

It looks like it did its job of protecting you, I don't think there is an undeployed air bag. Hope all is well withy ou and you have another vehicle and not stranded trying to afford or get the insurance company to cover a rental. Good luck in your search.

My dad is my attorney and did his lawyer word magic and got things done and settled. Now I'm searching for another sonic. The turbo manual is hard to find. The seat airbags didn't go off. But I don't recall there being any. I think my 08 Aveo had them.

I only had some arm hair rubbed (more like burned from the speed of the curtain airbag blowing across my arm) off. Oh, and a bruise on my inside most elbow. Good car to get involved in an accident in! But that doesn't mean go destruction-durbying your Sonic.

If I do manage to find an 88 Iron Duke Fiero, an 84 with the MY8 or an 84 Indy, I'll take that over a sonic. The thought of buying my car back and swapping the LUV into it did cross my mind almost non stop since the wreck.

Yeah, that's what the guy at the stealership told me today. Right now is that grey area in between the time for the 2013s to come out and the 2012s to stop being delivered.

If you have another car to drive in the mean time, I'd highly recommend placing an order for a new Sonic. Especially with no trade, you can negotiate the price (and then tell them you expect whatever incentives are available at time of delivery) and get the EXACT vehicle you want, every option, color, etc. If you order at this time of the year, I'd expect they will tell you the usual 6-8 week waiting period...but I have ordered cars in the late summer and gotten them in as little as 5 weeks.

my car est wat $8,800 and when they finished it was $10,300 but no frame damage and no airbag when off.... side note did they give you used car value or the price to replace it?

What dealer? There wasn't one within 500 miles when I got mine. Mine is identical to the one just crashed. Sucks that your ride got smashed. I'm actually looking at trading mine in already on the Scion FRS. I went and looked at one today. If I don't trade my car in I'll trade the CTS. It's paid for and should bring at least 6000-8000 on trade.
