Really?
Is this response necessary?
All the guy did was join a forum where people like Sonics and make his first post a complaint about the car and then add a Toyota insult at the end.
After thinking about it...

Not sure of your interpretation here, but in all the forums I belong to, the inclusion of the POPCORN icon, implies that I have nothing to add to the thread and that I am interested in watching (hence the POPCORN while I watch) the thread so that I may learn something. Maybe you just learned something?
In any case, it will be interesting to know what the end result is...
Lemon. Law.
Glad everything's ok.
For those looking for a lemon law claim. I use to work at a dealer, the car has to have the exact same problem/repair done at least 3 times before you qualify. I did work at one dealership that the customer didn't have a legitimate lemon law claim but they did buy his car back. It was a 96 GMC Jimmy. The customer parked the vehicle in front of the dealership and filled the SUV with cardboard boxes to take up space, then filled the rest of it with lemons through the sunroof. They bought it back within hours.
Just thought I would update the popcorn eaters here. I observed real time temperatures with my scanner and everything is fine. I just didn't realize it would take so long for the car to reach 220 degrees. So all is well. *knocks on wood*

Awesome news.
Please ignore $ub$onic, everyone knows a real man eats assorted flavored gummy worms.
Or 8 foot long 26 pound gummy snakes.

Not so fast. There are clauses to it and criteria that need to be met. I've tried with mine after 2 water pump replacements. It's not easy to lemon law the car contrary to what people think.
The other thing to realize is that the thermostat is electronically controlled, and is really remarkably good at regulating the temps at efficient (for economy) levels, right around 220.
