Oracle halo headlights a bad/good idea??

Found these oracle halo headlights here:

2012 Chevy Sonic ORACLE Headlight HALO Kit 6K HID White LED/SMD Halos DRL Rings | eBay

Went on their website and learned about the install process, part of it requires you to put the housing in the oven to seperate it and place in the halo lights...seems a little sketchy to me. The brand itself is good from what I've read though, anybody try these or have any knowledge about them? Thanks

Yeah I saw that thread a few days ago, still wondering whether or not it's worth the risk to take apart the housing or not. Not too many people have done it which makes me think it may not be such a good idea, but I could be totally wrong...

I would LOVE to have those, but I don't trust myself enough to go through the process.

Yeah, I was on the site looking at certified dealers near my house. Found one, but not sure how much installation would cost...Also worried about how that would void warranty or not and how that would affect the housing. Not something I want broken ya know

Yeah, even if you got the Halo's installed from the dealer I wonder since the headlights are aftermarket, if it will change how much energy is drain from your battery or not?

I believe it was Ferdie who posted that the halos didn't fit right or something like that. But it may have been a different brand also. Try a search for halo or angel eyes and you may come across what I am referring to.

Yeah, well I don't think they would use much more than the average daytime running lights...LED's are not supposed to use much power from what I've read, could be wrong though.
