Alright just a quick update. I haven't had time to wash my car yet. It's been raining and I've been busy so I'm gonna wash it tomorrow if my girlfriend lets me :| I'll be sure to take before and after pictures and do my best to capture any differences in the pictures.

In that heat, when sap or bugs gets baked into the clearcoat ,it takes a series of compound polish and grit polish to even get close to removing it. Mostly if its been baked into it , it stays. Lay down some good wax , let it cure , remove, keep a microfiber hander to wipe clean any spots here on out.

Sadly, new cars have the very minimum thickness necessary to say its painted. Sorta like the Twinkie.. which has just enough flour in it to call it a cake. From the pic you posted, a good shop should be employed to color/wet sand it, then polish it out. But that's only going to work if there is enough clear left on the car. As Natesriv said, a detailer should be able to handle this for not too much cash... and it will look new again.
