Passenger Armrest?

People have gotten the Japanese driver side armrest and used it for a passenger side. The discussion including the source is on this forum if you want to look.
One question: there is a panic handle above the door for the passengers, why in the world would they want a left side armrest?

My wife likes an armrest as well and because of the lack of one she leans over further and uses mine. Super annoying.

That's what my girlfriend does. It's not really annoying to me though, even though I use it all the time.

Just the no arm part is required. They lean because their right side is heavier.

Has anyone noticed the indent in the side of the passenger seat that is exactly in the right spot for another armrest exactly like that which is on the drivers seat? Anyone try doing anything with it yet?

Actually that was for an add on in the rear cup holder.

Whatever you do for the love of God don't buy the smurfing aftermarket armrest. Take my advice after I wasted 63 dollars and am now going to return it right back to China where it came from.
Drivers seat has a 2in. Metal stud exposed and mounting base where the factory armrest should be when you remove it. Go out in your car and and take a 17mm socket, zip the armrest open and remove. When you see how unsightly it is you'll think twice.
The aftermarket DOES NOT fully sit securely in the back drink holder. In fact, after a 10min. Of having it their it put some nice gashes In the plastic.
It wiggles side to side EASILY. It also sits closer to the passenger and doesn't appear fully centered.
If,you don't have leather interior it'll look out of place with the cloth seats. Minor, but it annoyed me very quickly.
It smells. Yes, it smells. I'd guess it's because its cheap plastic but it stunk up my car like a cheap whore.
Here are my final thoughts. Someone has to make an aftermarket REPLACEMENT for the stocker using the original mounting hardware. It could fold down, but be thicker and wider while sitting lower. Or, an alternative with a more secure base....maybe even a temporary piece that utilizes both front cup holders but can easily be removed when exiting the car or wanting to use the drink space.
Out of all the aftermarket things I've bought so far this has been the biggest let down.

I wouldn't expect great things from it, it is direct from China after all.
The factory armrest mount leaving a disgusting lump? I'd expect that too, it's not a $200+ kit, it's $60 and includes nothing for the nasty lump in the kit.
I'm unsure, but I think the armrest the guy on here from Russia used is different and might be nicer.
(won't fix the lump)
Hell, I still want to find the elevation piece for the passenger seata and a PS factory armrest from Japan so my wife can be comfy too!
