Plasti-Dipping your Wheels(or emblems!)

i plan on tackling this mod very soon, but really have not messed with removing the weights from the rim of the wheel.

I wonder how hard it would be to remove the rim weights and then carefully put them back after plastidipping. seems that a little grease pencil on the tire itself would let me mark where the wheel weights go back at.

.... I have to ask...

Why the hell would you do that?
Go to a tire shop, have it internally balanced with sticky weights then plasti-dip.

You are right, i could, but I am thinking long term.

When i get new tires, i would much rather have to patch a small area on the rim versus a larger area when the weight is removed or having to redip the whole rim again.... which might be what happens....
