Plastidip is unique in that you can peel it off if you want...which makes a great canvas.
I've had this image in my head for awhile...and a name for my car as "Hellion"...
So I decided today to see what I can create...I'm pleased with the first effort...I might get a sticker made which would be more permanent.
First I printed 3 copies (knowing my colors in advance). The first is a cutout of the basic silhouette.
Magnets work wonders in holding the paper
Then I cut out the facial features. I'm using stainless steel like paint (same stuff I used on my engine cover)
Here I've already done the face template and another template for the teeth and one for the eyes (yellow, but hard to see). Bascially I just made template for each layer. I found out that parchment paper or wax paper makes an excellent template as you can see through it.
I then made a template for "Hellion" with different sized fonts. I used stainless steel on that too...
Not bad, there's a line in the gorilla's head I'll need to work on as it fully dries...but it was fun trying this out, and if I don't like it..just peel it off!
