Possible MyLink Retro Fit

Ofer uses GM parts for his kits with some special wiring cables etc. to make them work.

I already have MyLink w/ BringGo so this kit has no interest for me but might for some.

One of the points to note: his kits allow all the GM specific (such as chimes and settings) to carry over.

I do not know if he is willing to do the work to accommodate the Sonic community but as there have been numerous inquiries in this forum asking for a MyLink kit I post this link.

Ofer provides kits for more than just Camaro so if there is interest I have no doubt he will find a way to expand his services to include the Sonic.

Don't know what the hang up is but knowing of Ofer's reputation, if it can be done he is the one to do it.

For example, many Chevrolet dealers will assure you a Head Up Display can not be retrofitted in a 5th Gen Camaro despite proof to the contrary. Ofer's kit is one of the more popular.

I already have them in my truck and other car. Being able to compare them back to back daily I can say I would stick with the AppRadio. Especially with everything you can get it to do with a rooted phone.

Yeah I love my App Radio. It keeps me entertained while on the road

I know Ofer personally, and this question might be better answered by him, but if he is able to retrofit mylink into a 2012, could Bluetooth then be added? I will get with him soon about this. And also see if he can figure out the cruise control problem.

I emailed the guy like 2 weeks ago and this is what he said

"that is something that I cannot verify at this time. In the future we will be expanding into other GM models though"

I take that as a good sign, particularly if a Sonic owner(s) near him will be able to let him look at their cars.
