Meh. I hate the owners. It's on a chain of lakes. There's a small "beach". They have a mini-golf course. Nice horseshoe pit. Playground for kids. Game room. Bingo on Saturday nights. I guess it's nice. It's not a tent-type campground, it's like a park-your-camper-for-the-summer campground. Lots of people winterize their campers and leave them there year-round.

Rottweilers are banned, so I can't bring my dog.

Someone (not the owners) said it was because of insurance, which I mean to inquire about when I go back today... because Michigan is one of 2 states I think, where it is illegal for insurance companies to not cover all breeds of dogs. It's only individual dogs deemed 'dangerous' with a bite history they can refuse to cover and/or drop. Maybe this is home-owners insurance only, and campground insurance is something different, I don't know. And being a privately-owned campground, maybe the owners have the legal right to ban whatever breeds they want. I plan on looking into it more... ask the owners about it.
If anyone with legal knowledge can chime in here, I'd appreciate it. Do they have the right to ban whatever breeds they want?
