Rear Middle Tail Light

Hey guys,

After installing my sub in my 13 sedan, I can't turn it up without rattling my car to bits.

I narrowed it down to the plastic 1 piece panel that covers the back and houses the middle tail light inside the car and I'm wondering if anyone has taken it off or have run into something similar to this. I couldn't find anything in the forum so figured I should ask in new thread.

I'm thinking maybe trying some of the expanding foam as a last resort since putting pressure on it fixes it or pushing it outward.

Any help pleeasseeee.

my rear window plastic piece rattles like no tomorrow. i've thought about taking that piece off completely, because theres no speakers there so whats its purpose? i put a jacket there one time it seemed to help, but the jacket was in the way sometimes.

Go to an auto parts store and get some clear RTV silicone and put a thin layer on the contact surface and a little on the screw threads. This should nearly eliminate the vibrations.
