The sonic has a torsion beam rear axle. It acts sort of like an anti-sway bar in the sense both hubs are linked by a solid piece. We do indeed have a front sway bar though.
Stock the sonic has pretty good handling but suffers from a bit of body roll, especially in the front. (most of the weight is hanging over the nose)
Good springs definately reduce the body roll, I really like the Eibach springs.
There is still some front end roll, it cant be completely avoided while still being streetable, but it handles great. Ride is noticeably stiffer over rough stuff, but on most roads its great.
Gonna keep and eye on this though, I know DDM made a brace for the solstice, their 'backbone', that was reportedly a must have piece.
