Recall: 1.8L Oil Pressure Indicator Switch

Neither is a recall that I am aware of. A bulletin or special policy maybe, but not a recall.

No recall comes up under my 2012 LS sedan VIN but this broke on Saturday. Had it towed in on Monday morning, they kept it an additional day because they found that the coolant temperature sensor was leaking as well.

I don't understand what sort of notice the original poster received concerning this issue.

My car just had to be taken in for a oil sensor issue and I would rather have Chevrolet pay for issues they know about concerning cold temperatures. I live in Wisconsin and I don't want to have to do this every 2-3 years because they designed/tested it poorly.
