Hey all, I just acquired a 2015 Chevy Sonic Hatch LT with about 60k miles. I prepped her for a road trip and then drove from FL to CA (yet again lol).
Now, two months later, it appears the wear & tear of the trip has left me with a few issues. The ball joint on the passenger side is torn and completely dried out, and the driver's side stabilizer link is on its way out. It also has a coolant leak from the hose/pipe that goes from the tank to the throttle body (the heater inlet pipe I believe). I'm planning on replacing both joints & links at the same time, so I took it to a reputable shop and they told me that they were having trouble sourcing the OEM ball joints separately and could only get the control arms. So they priced out the Moog joints for me instead (#K500317).
Normally I wouldn't mind, but after doing some research I found a lot of complaints about the quality of Moog suspension parts going way down. I didn't have to much maintenance on my old hatch (an '08 Yaris) before she was totaled last year, so I haven't used Moog in quite a while.
I also ended up finding the ball joints here:

So I'm also a bit confused why they were unavailable in the first place.
Can anyone share their relatively recent good or bad experiences with Moog suspension parts? Should I be concerned? Thanks!
(And sorry for the edits. I tried posting from my phone and it was a disaster haha)
