Remote Didn't Work

Hi Bogus,

I did some research in the Owner's Manual on your Remote Start and did not see anything that could have caused this. Hopefully the dealer will be able to figure out what's going on. Please post and let us know what the cause is after you take to the dealer. I will follow with you.

Thank you for the response I will post up my findings at the dealer today after I get home from work. Maybe sonichatch will have posted his findings as well.

I have an app. tomorrow at 3pm to get the BCM updated. I will post back and let you know how it went.... I also had the key fob issue

Be sure to get the update references so that other dealers can be properly informed. TIA

Went to the dealer, he said all the did was update the BCM - BODY CONTROL MODULE - My car said it had the latest version , so he called GM and they said to do it anyways, that they had made some minor changes without changing the version number.

Mine didn't work again last night...it's only been three times that I can remeber over the 13,500 miles and 6 months.
I need to bring the car in for the air bag refit recall, so I'll ask them to do it then.

It happened to my yesterday too. However, i had been messing with popping the key out and pressing it back in a few times in a row right before it didn't work. I then pressed the key back in and popped it out one more time and then the remote worked.

Coincidence?

Yeah, I got this letter a while ago, I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. It says the airbag system works fine, "however to prevent possible squeaks and rattles, we want to ensure that the fasteners are attached as designed."

I guess I should post this letter in the proper forum section.
