The plus/minus (set resume) rocker switch in my 2013 broke a few days ago. The switch itself is still fully functional. There is a tab on top, and a tab on bottom that hold the rocker piece on to the physical switch itself. The bottom little tab broke so that it's popping out rather than sitting flush with the rest of the switch assembly.
I'm wondering if I can replace just this rocker switch so that I don't have to remove the airbag and replace the entire 3 piece CC switch. I was reading another thread on here where people were giving suggestions on how to remove the airbag to do so. It seems simple enough as it's just 2 plastic tabs holding the rocker on. I've taken mine out now that the bottom tab is broken, and it seems the top one just snaps in and out. I feel like if I could buy an assembly and get the new rocker out without breaking the tabs, it would pop right in. I guess the question is if there's an easy way to get the new one out without breaking it.
