RS tune?

That is a blast from the past. The RS is good and with your planned enhancements will be great, but I suspect you need to drop and inch or two to be competitive. Note inches not pounds. Low and taut is the only way to go but your increased torque (with tune and mods) will keep in you in the game.

im not too worried about it. I just got it running for him yesterday (previous owner had the ignition timing off and some other little things)

His tires suck though, the suspension probably hasnt been touched in years and the lowering springs are so soft i can compress the coils by hand (i guess a sub 2000 pound car doesnt need much spring though..) dual sidedraft webbers and an open header back.

that cars future is to be sideways anyway after some more parts come in.

Were about equal as far as drivers go but these are some pretty aggressive mountains, I feel like my tight gearing and bottom end is where ill come out on top.

the 2nd cat delete pipe came today. Still no cable or tune though. Funny that i have a tracking number for those parts (which doesnt work) and i got the other part first

Yeah, tune comes through email and the cable is USPS. I've never had good luck with USPS tracking that's good it shows it's out for delivery! You're almost there!!!

It all depends. I got the email and asked Jerry about the cable, he said it goes out USPS and that was it. I got the cable the next day. That was during a non-sale time. Vince has been a busy man for a while now!

The intake port job is something I definitely reccomened. It was super easy. I had a little under 2 hours in the car today, which was 2nd cat delete, tune and intake porting. Its a completely different car. I spin 3rd in the rain now lol.
