These mounts actually are polyurethane, not sure why people are calling them "soild" cause they definitely are not. Replacing both mounts was literally like 10 min super easy. Just make sure you use a second jack on the motor cause it will drop about 6 inches if not secured by 2nd jack.
I definitely feel your concerns with the cons to this mod. Aggressive vibrations/extra drone in a commuter car isnt usually a good thing. I have always hated how disconnected the car feels to me which is why I bit the bullet to give it a try. Most people on here seem to be happy with them as long as they get them past the break in period. Which is why I am going to wait on my judgment until then
As for the 93 octane, I haven't notice much if any increase in mpg besides the overall increase the more mods I do. However when i was running 87 even during light/moderate acceleration I would notice almost like a slight sputter. After the 93 this completely went away and it runs soo much smoother. This along for the longevity of it is well worth the extra 20-30 cents especially when I get ~38 mpg the difference in cost per week is very minor. Granted I am coming from my 2 previous cars 97' stang and 96' camaro that would both require 93 octane and only 10 mpg if I granny drove the stang or 14 mpg for the camaro.
