Shifter Bushings are available!

I don't get it...?
So I installed the DDM shifter bushings and have been driving with them for over a week. I installed these after reading all the positive reviews on these. I am a bit confused. Honestly, I feel very little if any difference in shifting. I don't understand what all the hype is about. Kinda wish I hadn't purchased these, can someone explain? I will say that I have nothing but positive reviews for DDM Works. I asked for instructions before I placed my order and very quickly received a reply with colored instructions. Order was received in a very reasonable timeframe. Just not all that impressed with the product. Oh well at least they weren't expensive. Willing to sell if anyone is interested. I'll probably leave them in until then since it was a pain getting the insulation out without tearing it. Unfortunately Shifter Bushings get a sad banana from me :sadbanana:

I did my install in 11 mins, from the time I opened the door to start the job to the time i finished and closed the door. Of course I knew what needed to come out already.
You can expect to spend 20-30 mins on it. Alls you have to do is pry the shifter boot piece up, then the next piece of trim (pry up at the back and then pull up and towards the rear of the car), finagle a pcs of insulation out, then take a 10mm socket and long extension and remove 4 bolts, use a pair of needle nose pliers and pull out the bolts and "stock rubber bushings" (really long pliers make it super easy),
Set in the new bushings, put the bolts back in, tighten the bolts, and put everything back together.
and most importantly. Enjoy the improved shifter feel, it's way more crisp.
The bushings come with good directions but there's you're readers digest version

He was referring.to the trans mount.install, not the bushings. He aleeady has that installed hahah

I had a question regarding these shifter bushings. While I am driving in rush hour traffic and back and forth from first second and third gear and on and off the throttle the car feels very jerky, will these improve this problem possibly in connection with trans and engine mounts??
Any help is greatly appreciated as it is very annoying feeling like I'm on a bucking bronco trying to throw me off.

Installed my DDM bushings this weekend and thought I'd give my 2 cents worth. For the fairly small dollar and time requirement, I'd say it's worth it. I wouldn't say it made a drastic night and day difference, but it's a noticeable improvement over the rubber bushings.
I've still got the stock engine and transmission mounts, so I might try upgrading the transmission mount and see if I like it even better.

My bushings should arrive today and if so, they will go in today. I'm quite excited after reading all the reviews of them.

So DDMWorks is now my favorite parts company. So a few days ago I ordered my first "mod" for my rs, shifter bushings.
Now I run a pizza place and we get request to draw on the pizza boxes quite frequently. When checking out on DDM's site there was a box for special request. So I put: "Draw a T-Rex washing a Sonic on the box."
So in the mail today, this is what I received.
Two thumbs up DDM, you got my seal of approval.

DDM is awesome, their customer service is some of the best Ive received. Calling me to make sure everything is okay, I lost a part and they offered to send another one out at no charge. Luckily my local shop had one. They also called me the next day to check up on me. And their parts are high quality. I highly reccomened purchasing DDM parts as well as purchasing other parts through DDM.
