So much freaking love right now. After a month in the body shop from when some chick ran a red and smashed it up (see other thread "sad day for sonic") she's back!

New fenders
Seibon hood
New bumper, fogs, radiator, mounts, AC compressor, among other crap. $8000 worth of work and not a dime paid by me. Paint matched perfect and it feels like a joy to drive - finally out of that boring automatic Malibu rental!

They will only pay for a factory replacement, sometimes the cost of the new part coincides with the cost of an aftermarket part, but will always give a deep discount.

I also got rid of HIDS and put nice stock bulbs in. Over the whole hid thing in non projection housing. Cool thing is that I got a free kit with the insurance and sold them on eBay for $75 haha
