Sonic rear disk brakes

I have been flirting with the idea of seeing if the brake setup off of the back of a Chevy cruze would fit on a sonic, basically replacing everything from the spindal outward, I'm going to do some digging but if anybody has any ideas or opinions please let me know

Why would you do that when the parts already exist?! Source the parts from the rear discs of the Sonic RS. I believe Dave at DDM has already produced a parts lost.

In addition to the referenced post from Dave Michel, much research was done and posted early in the life of this forum, some complete with diagrams to show what could be done if money was no object. The consensus of these various threads was to wait for the RS rear brake kits to come to market. As I recall, this was not a straight forward swap, although many parts were in common crucial parts were not.

I refer you w/o links just to let you know the info is here in the forum if you care to look. For me, it is easier to find something when I know for certain that something exists over hoping it exists.
