I'm thinking of two possibilities for a spoiler on my sedan

Duraflex® 102208 - Bomber Wing Spoiler

or

Duraflex® 102222 - Sniper Wing Spoiler

I like these but are they good quality? Also, other options are welcome

Im most likely getting this one eventually. No idea if theyre good quality or not. I imagine. Carid is fairly well known. Talk to the The Fallen hes the only sudan ive seen with a spoiler. Im pretty sure his is from carid as well. Similar if not the same as the one I linked.

Generally Im not a big fan of those flashy spoilers, but it might work with your car. What color is it? and do you have any of body kits already on? Any of other mods.

i have a red sonic and no, I'm actually just starting to buy stuff for my car. I haven't bought anything yet, full stock. Just thought I'd start with a spoiler

Just depends on what direction your going to take the car. Could look good with almost anything if followed through.

Hi Mexigga, Out of those two spoilers, i myself think the Sniper Wing would look the best on a Sonic. My only concern with a Universal Spoiler is it may not fit properly onto out little trunks and may or may not interfere with the function of the trunk. I cant say i have seen this spoiler anywhere so it would be unique for sure...

I can vouch for the 3D Carbon Raised Pedestyl Spoiler Savage was talking about as i have that spoiler on my Sonic. 3D Carbon Makes solid Quality items. Not saying duraflex dont, but the spoiler they made is specifically for the Sonic. So it Follows the lines and Curves of the Trunk to give it a nice flawless look. I love it. CARID.com is a great place to get it from.

I myself, When i bought mine i got it Directly From 3D Carbon Themselves. Contacted a rep and ordered it thru them directly. The Guy gave me a good deal on it. I was one of the first ones to buy that spoiler. Comes already primered and ready for paint. Can be painted ahead of time but will cost you to do so. If your good with painting, I suggest doing it yourself to save cash. The spoiler now runs around $178.50 ((3d Carbon® 691991 - Chevy Sonic 2012 Rear Spoiler)) Not painted, just primered.

Forgot to add that i have every intention to buy the rest of the 3D Carbon Body Kit for this car soon... As soon as i get the cashflow saved up to do so. Working on it. Getting closer. Once i get that kit this car will really pop out and show what i was going for...

at the moment i have rally armor mud flaps on my sedan and was thinking of the 3d carbon spoiler or something else that would give it a rally look. any suggestions

I've got a sedan and a spoiler on mine. I got the t5i one off of carid. I was impressed with their site as well as customer service... plus the spoiler is good quality as well and was exactly what I was looking for.

I'm looking for a lip spoiler, I just don't want to drill holes and later in a few years it'll start to rust if its not prepped properly.

I really like that they give you the option to have it custom painted for a little bit more money... I personally would rather have someone else paint it so I know it's done correctly rather than take the chance of messing up a $100-200 purchase.

If you get the spoiler installed correctly, it's def. not gonna rust around it. I installed a spoiler on my old car (2009 chevy cobalt) and never had a rust issue, so I decided to install one similar to it on my sonic.

May I suggest some options that I think (subjective opinion alert) will work better on your car? You don't have to break the bank and they will actually be useful, unlike the spoiler, which does nothing but add weight.

- tinted windows for better privacy and sun/heat reduction
- clear bra to protect your paint from rock chips
- a good set of brake pads for the front
- perhaps a tune, even?
- good quality neoprene seat covers, made specifically for the Sonic, which will protect the interior from wear and tear (a set is about $260).
- a better set of tires than those that come stock


All of these and more, are useful mods and none of them will break the bank. Tires are likely the most expensive item on that list, being around $400 installed.

How comfortable are the neoprene seat covers as when it's hot or cold outside. Also how comfortable are they after you've sat in them for and hour or two. Any particular brand you are familiar with that you would recommend?

3D carbon flush spoiler for sedan

Hey there.. I want to know if anybody here has bought this rear spoiler for the sedan?

When I do an image search, the results I get are for the Cruze.

I think this is a better spoiler than any I have seen for the Sonic (if it fits). Please let me know opcorn:
