:sadbanana: This all started when I went thru a car wash.... My sunroof was open a little, and when the blowers came on, I was covered in foam and water! My 2013 Sonic started to run the rpms up to about 5 grand, and I could do nothing about it. Shut the car off, started it again, ( still in the car wash!) And the rpms were lower, but still around 3 grand or so. They finally came down, but the car ran like it was in limp mode. Got it home, did some research, and found that the water will drain down the A pillar, and soak some fittings in the passengers kick panel area. Sure enough, water was in the connectors. Got wifies hair drier, shook out the water from the three connectors I found, and dried it off. Things got better, it ran, but had a sputtering under any kind of acceleration, like it was a combo of fuel and spark. Had this before, and had cleaned the MAF sensor. Replaced it this time, got a little better, but still the lag. So, decided to throw some money at it and bought a new accelerator pedal and throttle body after some more research. Replaced both, still have the !@#$%& lag! Even put my tune back in from Vermont Tuning to no avail. I've checked the wiring again, it's still dry. At my wits end on this. Any ideas? Also, I've replaced the two temp sensors that were throwing a code, but can't get the code to reset. Took off neg battery cable for a half hour. It goes away, then comes back. Help!!
