Stretching your tires

Hi Guys so im new to the forum and have been thinking of stretching some tires on the stock mag that the car already has.

Any advice would be supper helpfull Thx

Why would you do that to an essential and expensive part of your car.

Or you could put on proper tires that will:

• Look infinitely better.
• Handle infinitely better.
• Won't get you laughed out of any reputable tire shop.

fair enough,i have a set of 205/45/R17's but was think of it as i saw a guy driving his chevy cruze on the freeway with streched tires on the stock rim and didnt look all that bad.


but think il just go with the 17 lol

I like when people hear “tire stretch” and come running with torches and pitch forks. It was the same on Chevy Cobalt forums too. At least it’s entertaining until the op gets the info he wants to hear lol
