Some people prefer to use the inside rear view to look behind them. I, and I'm assuming you, use the wing mirrors primarily.

I'm fine with it vibrating, and it's pretty much useless to me while I listen to music. But the annoying ass sound it makes from shaking ferociously is the most annoying thing in the world. Especially to an audiophile.

I use my rear view to look behind me. And the wings to see beside me like intended. I have almost no blind spot without turning my head, and I have to tilt my head to see my car in the wings. Reason: the location of my car is a constant, so I don't need to look at it.

I love our giant mirrors lol.

I use my rear view to look behind me. I set the side mirrors farther out so I can easily see cars beside me. Since I change lanes so often.

Actually without those giant rear headrests the view from the rear in the hatch is great. I have a very good view even to the sides. So I'm able to put my side mirrors out pretty far to cover my blind spot so I don't have to crane my neck to change lanes.

I used to aim my mirrors with the side of my vehicle partially in view of the mirror, now I have to lean back in my seat to see the side of my car. If this makes sense...

just looked up the rule for texas...we only need one since 2007

Sec. 547.602. MIRRORS REQUIRED. A motor vehicle, including a motor vehicle used to tow another vehicle, shall be equipped with a mirror located to reflect to the operator a view of the highway for a distance of at least 200 feet from the rear of the vehicle.
Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1995.

This all that i could find... so side mirrors would do the job... every u haul truck would be in violation..... or when towing a enclosed trailer

It makes perfect sense. I have to crane my neck to one side or the other to see my side views.
