Let’s see what could be wrong here.
2013 LT 1.4T/6 speed ~84k Miles
Couple days ago I was in 3rd gear, went to push in the clutch and the last 2” of peddle “popped” and then I had trouble getting it back I to gear at the stop light. Managed to get it into gear and drive it another mile. Car wouldn’t go into reverse, and it was near impossible to get it into gear while parked (engine on and off attempted).
Car gets towed to the dealer the following day, and they said the car is driving fine????? No issues shifting. I told them what had happened for the 876th time and he says “we’ll take another look at it tomorrow when our transmission guy comes in”. 2nd guy looks at it and says the same thing.
What could cause a shift issue and then simply go away?
I thought either my clutch was shot or at the very least the master/slave had failed. No hydraulic fluid found. I’m going to see when I can pick it up, I have major concerns after what I experienced.
Ohh and I have a p0299 turbo limp mode issue lingering for over a month that they are going to do a “diagnostic check” on.
Because apparently they don’t run diagnostics when you bring them a broken car. Dealership says that the charge might not be covered under the warranty.
Criminals, I’m not paying a dime.
