Are the cobalts faster than the 1.4l Sonics w/6speed?

It's a girl what you expect, it's all about driver. She didn't have the guts to go all the way. Besides we were on the highway already doing 75-80 when she decided to pull up next to me.

I can tell you the cobalt has 145 hp 155tq vs the 1.4 138 hp 148tq
As I recall the Cobalt SS/SC was drag limited to 145 mph. That would be more than the turbo Sonic's 124 mph.

Who can get to 124 quicker?

SS/TC
Stock to Stock -- Cobalt win
SS Stock to Sonic tune -- Cobalt win
Tune to tune -- Cobalt win
Will all be DESTROYED by the cobalt ss/tc
Yes, it was.
Can't say anything about the SS/TC as I know nothing about it.
And the drag limit for the 2005 SS/SC was real.

comes with 130 mph h-rated tires, the 1.8 will do 120 in 3rd![]()
EDITI don't believe this at all. I'm calling Horsesh*t.
maybe, maybe very end of 4th. maybe.
That's what I thought I remembered.

If the cobalts were so fast, why did they discontinue them?
I, personally, have the attitude that the Cruze replaced the Cobalt which replaced the Cavalier. All are/were compacts, and all are/were assembled in Ohio at the Lordstown Assembly Plant.
This is not considered to be a politically correct attitude, and I have been accused of being a troll for expressing this attitude elsewhere.
This is my opinion and please, dear people, do not try to confuse me with any facts. In this area, nothing is less relevant than the facts.

Forgot my point: Chevy did not discontinue either the Cobalt or the Cavalier, GM just renamed it.
