you can get in the 120's after about 110ish she certainly doesn't pull to hard anymore and wind kinda pushes you around pretty good at that point.

stock sonic 1.8 manual can easily push 120 without anything done. ive had it to 117 burnin close to 5grand on the interstate and didnt want to go much faster cause other traffic, was on a 4 lane north in far left and got behind people going barely 80. air resistance is so phenomenal at this speed tho, and there is no car really around that can clock for 180, unless ur pushing some LS3 b/s. but ive noticed after puttin on new wheels and tires, from my stock 15's to new 17's, its much harder to go faster and getting there quicker, it pushes more Rpms, more for the engine to turn, i haven't really pushed my car to it's limits yet, but the fastest ive been with my new wheels and intake was 109, doesnt want to pull alot more dont seem as, if i put the stock on i can go faster, already proved it to myself. hopefully getting a mod in the future and tuning it to get more out of each gear, when i hit 117 i didnt get as much as i can out of every gear, i was already in 5th crusing bout 75 then i decided to try and take off, was in sort of a hurry.

I've had my 1.4t MT hatchback up to 129mph, not sure if it was topped out I let off but it deff did feel like it was going. Any faster that was with a ~5mph tailwind. 11mpg according to dic lol

I've hit 124 twice before and thought that was all it had. I keep having to let up because of approaching cars (don't want to pass anyone that fast especially a cop)
6th gear is ~115 mph

I did it going to work the other night where I got 15 miles of road that cops very rarely use cause it ends in the parking lot of my work

DRAG LIMITED... You can take a governor out with a tune, but that doesn't change your drag coefficient. The extra hp from the tune will help, but it's not going to get you to 150

Ive went around 150 in my old 1997 mitubishi galant with the 4 cylinder and auto trans the speedo only went to 140 I burried it and was bouncing off the rev limiter

I really think the sonic can do it maybe not a 1.8 but a turbo one for sure
