The factory transmission coolers are a stacked plate style.
Much more thermally efficient than the old "tube" style used many years ago. I don't think GM has used those on anything built in the 10-15 years.
There is an engine oil cooler built into the factory setup.
It's an oil/coolant heat exchanger, built into the oil filter adapter and hiding behind the turbo and catalytic converter.
Really, the best thing to do IMO, is to install an auxiliary cooling fan control switch onto the radiator itself.
This can have a rather big influence on transmission temperatures, and engine oil temps to a much smaller degree
