Trifecta or BNR tune?

While I don't disagree that Trifecta may have given slow responses a couple of years ago. They were adapting their business model and needed time to figure a few things out. I have experienced 12-24 hr response times over the past 6 months. The tunes for the Sonic and Cruze have been remedied and are as good or better than Jerry's tunes. Trifecta is digging into the new program architecture that GM is now providing and refining as time progresses.

I wouldn't say they are better then BNR tuning but they have gotten better then what they have been in the past.

You have to remember they Jerry is one guy processing, viewing logs and retuning 100's of logs a week.

When I first tuned my 1.8 "T" was the only option. I always got the "its all good" response from them even when I knew it wasnt good. That was a huge part of why I will never deal with them again.

BNR is very busy right now. Like $ub pointed out, its a one man show. He gets a lot of messages and emails daily. Some have nothing to do with tuning but are being sent through the same channels as tuning related. Its easy for things to get missed and delays to happen. It is also tax refund season and that usually has a habit of gumming up the works even more.


As far as the torque command issue, no matter what parts are on the car, both of mine will be slow just like stock if I do not alter the torque command values. Both cars are manual as well.

We've been extremely busy and my iphone was unknowingly marking emails as read when they weren't. I've since switched my email app on the phone and this is no longer an issue. As of this post I am getting tune updates out within 3 business days, instantly if requested. I have specifically stopped taking tune update requests via facebook as there is no way for me to track them. It wasn't an issue when we weren't as busy as we are at the moment, but with tax returns it's a little overwhelming.

At any rate, I've tried to reach out to Kountryboy privately on here to resolve any issues and have received no response. Please check your messages as I'd like to get your log taken care of if it was marked as read by mistake or something.
