I just tryed a 96 octane tune with nice results.With a 8HP and 20 lb TQ increase in the mid and upper range over the 93 tune. The fly wheel out put is 178 HP/201 TQ. I use the Lucas octane booster 3.0 OZ added to 5 gals is a true 96 octane.You can treat a whole Cruze 12.6 fuel tank for between 3 to 6 bucks.Depending on how you buy the booster. A note on the booster any more than 3 oz to 5 gals 93 does not make 93 any higher than 96.Its just a waste of the booster lucus tech assistance told me.All my scan tool numbers look great to running the tune under full load.So the Lucas has proved to work good.I have also seen it tested on a volvo forum as increaseing 93 to a true 96.5 octane.
