I won't try to talk you out it... but I'm betting your stock intake parts (throttle body, manifold, port design) will become the restriction when you try to move a higher volume of air at 20psi. And if you clear that restriction the stock fuel pump may have trouble supporting your newfound airflow at high RPM (even with larger injectors).
Also remember that when the intake requirements of the larger compressor exceed the output capacity of the smaller compressor (at high rpm) the smaller compressor will cavitate. So you better have a mechanism to suppliment the intake of the larger compressor once it is spooled.
I wish you luck but be ready to spend more than $1500.
