I want to build an AR, but that budget is being diverted towards a motorcycle right now. That said, an AR is likely my next firearm purchase, unless I decide to stick to my commie roots and get an AK.
you can build one relatively cheap if look in the right places unless you want to go expensive.

ive built one for about 700 and its pretty good if you buy a PSA upper and an anderson stripped lower you can build a decent AR cheaply. Some times PSA runs sales where you can get a upper for 300 some times even less. they sell PTAC uppers but they are garbage.

Oh I love guns. I've hurt my bank account more than one on them.
Other hobbies= motorcycles, mud trucks guns, computers/electronics, video games, camping, fishing.

hmm many hobbies: building/modifying drivetrains & motors, tuning ecm's, surfing, running, gym, motorcycles, fishing, guns, piano, teaching - organic chem & phonetics.
Pretty much sums up my hobbies, there's a lot of other things I like to do but dont ever have time anymore (like dirtbikes, woodworking, sailing). Usually am working or studying. :blankface:

I have a few hobbies like my Sonic, Photography/Videography, and Website Construction and Design. I'm trying to turn those last few hobbies into a profession this year.

Recently working on some little audio repurposing projects to brush up on my soldering. My Daughter's laptop speakers failed and I'm building a new shop radio so I decided to donate my old speakers to the cause.
Started with a little sub and two satellite speakers with a bunch of dang wires everywhere
Cut the speaker pods apart, drilled holes in the sub box, remounted the speakers in the top and the control section with board on the back.
Now it's a simple, compact set up with one input wire and one power wire.
Sounds great considering I bought this thing at Wal-Mart for $20 about 6 years ago.
Bonus: Once I finish building her future dorm audio project (an old clock radio that will get Bluetooth and way better speakers) I get this back... With a battery pack and wireless set up this will link up to my wireless audio network for placement anywhere in Wi-Fi range

Getting ready for a Bluetooth garage radio project, repurposed my old xbox converter and an extra DeWalt bit case into a bench top psu running 12+ volts at 12a
An old switch and amplifier power spuds from the parts bin make for a fairly clean set up (minus my first switch hole on the wrong side of the case I sloppily patched)
The Xbox cable has three yellow and three black leads, twist the yellow together for positive, black is negative. The blue and red are switch activation.
Easy day off project that will now power my Bluetooth amplifier board for testing....
