A 450? I didn't know those existed. Biggest 3 wheeler I thought was a 350?
I had a Honda ATC-200X when I was between 10 and 12. Before that I had various things starting with a Suzuki DS-80 when I was 7. Now I have a Yamaha Raptor 350 and a modified Raptor 660.

I've never heard of a 450 either. There was the 350X and the 250 "Big Red." Maybe they made a HUGE Red 450?
A couple of friends of mine had the 200X and had 'em tricked out. Fun little 3-wheelers, but I think my 250SX was a little more powerful with climbing hills and mud-bogging.

I was too young at the time (9ish?) but my brother had borroed a ATC250? something that was a 2 stroke. Both him and my dad said they hated it compared to the 200X because it had no low end power. A lot of our riding was and is hill climbing\trails and some of it is the kind where you almost flip over sideways or backwards so slow is a must. At times this is where the 660 makes me feel a bit unsafe because one wrong move....

I like to draw and build models...my drawing file is at work, I'll have to post later.
But I like building models too... Once I'm done, well I don't have a place to put them all...the fun is in the building of the model for me... My spaceship models are at work, so not pictured here
The plane is a balsa wood model...actually one of the cheap ones, but it came out pretty good. The wooden ship hull I'm building now...I'm learning on the fly how to build an all wood ship model...and so far I'm making a D+!

If it was at 2-stroke 250, it was most likely the 250R. And if it had no low end power, something was wrong with it. Those things could haul some balls, especially in sand dunes with paddle tires. A buddy I rode with the most back in the 80s had a 250R and he pretty much destroyed me everywhere we went. However, I could still mud-bog better than him with the low end torque of the 250SX. And I had reverse if I found myself heading down a dead-end. :banana:
The 200Xs were great for track use. Very light and nimble and you could throw them around great on banked curves and over jumps. Good suspension for that too.
