Hi Aldakoopa,
You will find the paint code on the Service Parts Identification Label. The label is located in the spare tire well in the trunk. It has the following information:
. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
. Model designation.
. Paint information.
. Production options and special equipment.
I didn't see mine in the trunk. Must not have looked hard enough... or somebody didn't stick one on. Anyway, if there's any issues I can just come look at the list of paint numbers. Thanks for the info though! We've had a couple of new Malibu's recently and they have their label's in the glovebox, which is unusual for a sedan, unless you've classified it as a truck for some reason.
p.s. My parents live in Henderson, NC (near Durham), how far is that from Mosquito Hell? I love the Carolinas, I spent my summer vacations in NC growing up.

Thanks for that, I needed a good laugh today!

I actually live in a small town called Manns Harbor, part of the mainland right next to the OBX.
We've just had a ludicrous amount of mosquitoes ever since Hurricane Irene last year... we had a relatively warm winter afterwards which didn't kill them off because it never got cold enough to even frost but maybe once or twice. Then, a lot of rain all year long... they did start to dwindle down during the Summer though, like they overpopulated so much that they couldn't sustain the population or something. I know the county sure hasn't sprayed much due to "budget concerns".

Anyway, maybe by this winter I can change that town name...
