Don't normally post what I've done to my sonic (there in my album), however I was quite impressed with a fairly cheap steering wheel cover. Bought at Pep Boys for 17.99. I just wanted better grip for the winter months. The color and stitching roll nicely with the RS. For our steering wheels size does matter...go with the smaller size of the two offered at the store.

Not specifically today, but this past weekend; close enough.

The shaft connecting my clutch master cylinder to my clutch snapped while driving home. Needless to say I had A LOT of fun driving home shifting without my clutch. I found out the screws holding the CMS to the brake pedal assembly sheared off! After removing my battery tray, my steering column and half my trim work, I finally removed the brake pedal assembly to find the old screws were generic, course thread, non-graded (unlike the grade 9.8 machine screws that resemble GM part# 11561026, that I ordered AND received) screws that were obviously not meant for the repeated thrashings of a clutch hundreds of times a week.

BTW, I have a 2012 Black LT sedan with 140,000 miles on it. Still begging for more!

I believe some of the 2012 models came with an allen head oil pan plug.

When the head stripped off on mine, I got one from the local Advanced Auto Parts store, it feels like a lot heavier duty steel and takes a 17 mm socket and has a replaceable o-ring. Just make sure to use a torque wrench when putting the new one in.

I bought a 12mm sized hex bolt head - drain plug to replace mine. Don't remember where I bought it online... ask any decent lube shop, they'll fix you right up.

I drove from Winnipeg to Vancouver. Everytime I filled up I got wicked better mileage. Which makes sense. But I'm still amazed.

I took the sonic to the shop they were able to get the rounded off drain plug out and replaced it with the one from Advance Auto parts. Thanks the tip
