Funny I just modified mine this weekend.

I tried using the clamp like you have to the factory pipe for the sensor but I ended up going to silicone. I noticed the slightest bit of air leaking around it before and sometimes it would fall out. That got old fast. Also I had the 3in-3in silicone coupling with a 2-1/2in adapter and I changed it to a 3in 2-1/2 adapter, it was much more stable where it hooks to the turbo.

Hmm thanks for pointing that out about the leak, I'll have to look into it and see if it's leaking on mine or not

I believe removing the top would allow dirt to be sucked in...

Did u cut the bottom section of your stock airbox to make it fit inside it? I was thinking I might do that.

No it just sat in the box with the top cut

If u put a filter on it like that your good.

A filter like what in the pictures? What will cutting a hole achieve more audible turbo possible hp+?

cutting the hole in the top of the intake was solely so the air box could hold the new cone filter in place without lifting it up to high

That was a good idea I cut mine before the box and just put the filter in the bottom piece. It goes up and down I'm sure but always lands in the bottom section.

A nice deep crimson red would look good. Probably guessing they'd have to sandblast the clear coat that makes them shiny for powder coating.

idk, i was thinking red at first, then white, then black.... when i got the wheels, they were dipped grey and it actually looked darn good. im seriously considering grey with a red metal flake. decisions decisions...... lol
