I would have no interest in this at all. I went into the market looking for a hatchback to serve as daily driver and light cargo hauler. Discovering that the Sonic (pretty much alone in the segment, especially in the sub 20K area) is also fun to drive was a bonus, discovering that with a few mods it would have me laughing my way down onramps and smiling about it all day was an even better bonus. Discovering that it served much better as a cargo vehicle than I ever expected, taking on about 95% of my tasks instead of the 80% I was shooting for? Ring the bell.
Trade it in five doors for two, hell I'd be crazy to do that, I'd end up using it no more than 50% of the time, I'd be stuck in my old F150 if I ever wanted to do anything other than take GF to a movie, and oh wait, is there actually a useful back seat in there? No thanks, I'll stick with the Sonic then.
Might reconsider if the price was under 12K and the weight was under 1800. But you know it won't be close to either of those.
