Your longest non-stop roadtrip?

What's the longest you've driven non-stop? By non-stop I mean no stops to sleep - of course you'll stop for gas and bathroom breaks on the way. It doesn't have to be just in a Sonic, but in any car.

My longest is somewhere between 960 and 1000 miles straight, on the way from DFW to norther Chicagoland area. I think it's about 960 miles but once time I took a short detour, which placed me very close or at 1000 miles. Took about 16.5 hours if I remember correctly. Drove alone with no other driver to switch off with. My ass was lumpy for days. In fact, I did that distance 4 times in the last 2 years.

Mine was central Fl to New Jersey. About 17 hours. Had 5 people in a little sedan so we had some fun with it.

Amarillo, TX to Las Vegas, NV. about 865mi. Longest leg from Charleston, SC to LV.

San Diego to Eugene OR. 975 miles each way. Did it when my wife was prego, was actually a good trip for us. think it took about 12 hours each way.

15 hours is 'fast' for me when we're talking 960 miles.

From my house in Greenlawn NY to Marion NC, 721 miles. Picked up a 30' 5th wheel camper and drove to East Branch NY, 692 miles. 1431 miles total. It took 32 hours total. Not all driving. I had to wait about 5 hours for the camper to be ready and sign the paperwork. By the time I parked the camper I could barely move I was so tired and sore.

I left the camper attached to he truck and passed out on the couch. I didn't want to extend the extensions without lowering the jacks, or disconnecting from the truck.

Looking back, I should have taken a nap at the camper place, or stopped and slept at a rest stop. I was afraid if I went to sleep I would waste the entire weekend.

Crashing with a 14000lb camper wouldn't have been pretty.

This was 10 years ago, kinda ruff guessed the time frame. I do normally drive 80-90 on open roads and the 5 past the grape vine going north is pretty open.....it might of been closer to a 14 hour drive..She had a early 2k sentra at the time of the trip. I was only able to go that fast due to her sleeping

I guess we don't have any long haul truckers here.
The "best" I can do is regular 9.5 hour 530 mile runs between North Island Naval Air Station (San Diego) to San Lorenzo, Ca.
Did this in a '56 Chevy V8 and a '63 Pontiac Tempest 4. Both got 16 mpg.

I go hiking near glen rose so I often pass by cleburne. I like it out there.
