zzp cable clamp

So I got this when I bought there shifter bushing. Does anyone know where the heck it goes? No instructions on their website or with the product, kinda confused. Help please!

Yes..... I think it may be for holding down the shift cables. Some owners have had the cables dislodge during aggressive shifting.

In lieu of describing the entire photo posting process...... Can you at least describe the part in more detail? Is it a flat bracket? Maybe 3" wide? Holes in it?

Thanks for your help. I just emailed them, they are closed today so looks like im only installing the shifter bushings.

I will post the reply once I get it. I was thinking it went on the in car shifter but from looking at it it may go on the part attached to the trans I just don't know where. I was out in the cold this morning getting very pissed.

Got an email back from zzp. It mounts to the cable end that connects to the shifter attached to the trans. You have to pull the ecu out next to the battery, then pry the cable off the shifter, install the clamp and then put everything back together, took me 5 min tops. You need a flat head and and 1/8 allen/hex wrench.

Interesting.... There are two cables. Does it come with two stiffeners? I'm having a hard time picturing any benefits of adding them.

Difference from the shifter bushings? Or from the extra part.

Difference from just bushing, to bushings and clamp. The in car shifter has a ton less play. I drove with just the bushings for part of the day and then got the email and have been cruising since.
