Hello. I saw your post on the sonic vs aveo thread & I also have a dakota quadcab. The mileage I get w/ it is about 17 highway. The sonic is shockingly better, between 38-41. Ol dodgey was my only new truck, & it is still better than my 10mpg ramcharger,blazer,cherokee, or k20 that came before it.
I was wondering after all you've done to your 1.8 do you still want to get a 1.4?

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of those that have followed my build of The Fallen, my chevy sonic in summit white. Its been a blast building it and making a rendering a reality. i get constant compliments every day from it. But with that said, im looking to move on from the 1.8L with a chance to jump to the other side and grab me a 2015 1.4L Turbo Sonic. Logistics are still being sorted out on the possible deal but once i know more i will update again! Stay Tuned and Again, Thank You for all the support and Following of The Fallen!!!

Body Kit is Installed and Now im working on updating the interior some to give it a more unique look as well. Check out the August SOTM Contest to see the new interior look

I have an appointment for This coming Monday, the 21st, to Take my Sonic in to have the Body Kit Put on! Cant wait to see how the Fallen will look with this kit on it. Gonna be awsome! Stay Tuned as once i have it installed and Pictures i will be Entering in the SOTM Contest to Reveal it!

Quick Update For anyone reading/viewing my Profile... I go Tomorrow, Tuesday May 27th 2014, to setup the appointment to have the 3D Carbon Body Kit i Bought Quoted on Price and then set the appointment to have it done. Im Shooting/Aiming for The First week of June, Next week. Heres to hoping they have an opening to get it done!

MADE the Purchase for my Next Modification!!! (March 3rd, 2014) Should have it by mid-March and due to cost to get it installed i wont be able to install it until May, more likely June. ive secured a price on my next modification and will be doing the purchase within the next 2 weeks. So within the next month-month half, i should have my new item and installed on my sonic. My hope is to have it and installed by April.

SouthFLSonic, Yeah i know and have made a formal complaint report about it with amazon and have not seen anything done about it. I never authorised it and asked countless times for them to remove my pictures. But so far i have had no luck.

Hey I was just searching Amazon for Sonic stuff and came across your car being used for a sale of 5" rally stripes, did you know your car was being used?? Just an FYI

there is a site called precisionfit.com and they have a selection of custom fit covers for the sonic had cloth but i spilled something on them and messed one of the up but im saving money to get the leather next time

AustinK, Look Forward to hearing what your thoughts are of a tune for the 1.8L. Been thinking of finding a way to get my Sonic Tuned as well but wanted to hear what someone else who has a 1.8 thats been tuned thinks of it first. Keep me posted! thanks

i know this is really late but i read your post on the high revving auto trans.. i have a 1.8 at as well.. im gonna get a tune on black friday so ill let you know if that clears up the transmission issue..
