Currently the flange we have cut for the manifold is designed for the OEM throttle body....however, we are more than capable of cutting any flange for them. My only precaution would be space, its a pretty tight fit around that area.

Yes, please make a turbo manifold. If it's one thing our engine suffers from it's breathing problems. And while you're at it some performance cams would be great too

If you can, try and use the check valve in Andrei's PCV fix kit over on the cruzetalk forum. Parts can be ordered individually from the kit's parts list.

We managed to get this almost wrapped up, however we have to make a small change to the fuel rail mounting for the prototype. Here are a few more pics so you can see our progress.

Yes, currently we have the OEM rail and injectors on the manifold. We do have a fuel rail designed for the sonic.

I love me some new development! Great job aesthetically, I hope all the work you guys have poured into this comes with some numbers. Mostly I'm just happy someone is giving our platform some attention! Looks AMAZING!

Looks good. i have personally gone through two intake manifolds. cracked one and quite literally blew up another one. At 400 bucks a piece I am excited to see this come out.
I am curious to see if IAT's will be hurt a little vs. the plastic.

I don't think It would be too bad. I would honestly do some form of protective thermal coating to keep it shielded from the under hood temps. I also would suggest wrapping the down pipe. You'll protect a lot of components from unwanted heat and does a good job reducing temps under the hood if you can't spring for a vented hood.

Racer-X Intake!
Nice fabrication on the prototype!
My druthers:
1.) Offer a matte black finish with no Racer-X engraving so the smog nazis don't see shiny bits and fail the vehicle on a visual check. Please DO include Racer-X decals so they can be optionally placed on the engine/vehicle.
2.) Definitely work in the PCV fix.

Wow, I thought we were just about finished with aftermarket support for our platform. Glad to see I was wrong! I would say DEFINITELY add in a PCV fix, and a powdercoat option for said "smog nazis". Just up the price and processing time a bit to compensate for the powdercoat for those who order it, like we've seen with other things, like the MPFab intercooler.
