I see the intake is up! I'll be 2 weeks out on my order.... ididnt think it would be ready this soon. 2 weeks Jeff, I'm ordering. And those endlinks though!

Where are dyno numbers? Before and after? What’s the fuel trim look like?

LOL.....we finished testing last night. We have results for the intake manifold and our air intake box. I hope to have dyno sheets up tonight.

The manifold could add .001 HP, and I'd still buy it. Because..... not plastic. And ports. I love ports.

Just make sure it doesn't "loose" power, some manifold put power up so high, and you loose so much low end. Not saying this will, but need to know where it adds power.
That is why a true "manifold change over only" before and after is needed, you can flaw the data real quick by adding an intake tube at the same time; as the intake tube may be making up lost power and some. Meaning just an aftermarket intake tube, with a stock manifold can make even more power.
Interested to see the manifold gains and awesome to see support to this community!

Completely agree with you, and we were a bit shocked by the results. We typically see very good gains with intake manifolds, but this was not the case. I can tell you we did not lose any power, but we did expect higher results then what we have. Keep in mind the manifold is the only product we used during testing no other performance modifications. We also have not tuned the vehicle yet, so this is how the OEM ECU reacted to the manifold.
Chances are the ecu is dialing power back to its preset parameters. Definitely get it tuned stock, then add manifold and tune/dyno again to see actual gains.

Hey Jeff, thank you for doing this, a lot of members have been waiting about 5-6 years for this.
I'm also interested how your PCV valve/system is working on the test mule. I see the barbed fitting and one way valve on your pictures, I had some issues with reinforced hoses collapsing on past intake manifold projects for the 1.4. The boost/vacuum/heat didn't like hoses. Will there be hard lines provided for the important stuff? Also can the stock corrugated hose from intake manifold to turbo inlet be used with your setup?
And for the people wanting to stay close to stock, do you offer a BPV solenoid vacuum canister or diaphragm? I've tried different sized vac canisters with different results. I'm sure others will say bypass the BPV *solenoid, but am curious what you've considered.
Again thanks for the hard work, I might be in a camp of 1 in that I could care less about the power it makes.
I'll gladly pay 550$ for you to cure me of my PCV PTSD.

This is exciting. And just in time. Got my car back from my daughter last week in limp mode. At 45k miles I'm suspecting the pcv and bought the parts to mod per the Cruz forum. Could be good time to do replace the intake since I gotta take it off anyway.

Results!!
Ok guys, we had enough time last night to get the information on the website but it was pretty late when that was finished. The results from the intake manifold were surprising, as I mentioned previously we expected a bit more power from the manifold. The manifold is quite similar in performance to the OEM manifold (NOT ported) until 3500 RPM. After 3500 RPM we see average gains of 4 whp and 6 ft/lbs of torque. At 5300 RPM we see peak gains of 11 whp and 11 ft/lbs, the major benefit of the manifold comes in after 5000 RPM and carries power a little bit further than 6000 RPM but is still falling off.
Here is the dyno graph and data points from the run. I have also included a few pictures of the optional PCV kit it does use the check valve that was suggested earlier in the thread. I have also included a few pics of the manifold installed. The intake manifold does require the OEM PCV line to be cut at the turbo fitting. The brake booster hard line is also cut from the OEM fitting.
We look forward to getting it tuned and seeing the results.

You tested the stock manifold and the air box on 2-5-18 (looking at the other thread) and made 135 HP. Now on 2-7-18 you have it on the dyno with the air box, and the manifold and are at 134 HP?
The air box add makes sense compared to other intakes on the market, and has a nice gain.
Also it would be nice to see a same day, back to back dyno on each one by themselves, like your air box. Dynos do adjust some, but only gaining 4HP is questionable on the day to day.

We tested each product individually. Not combined, the manifold made close to the same amount of power. I do agree on the runs not being on the same day, but sometimes we have less than ideal situations, as we do make components for several platforms. We do our best to serve them all.
