I remember looking at an AWD Saturn Vue years ago, for my wife. Don't recall that one having a CVT.

No, I had it right. The Spark is a good little car that needs better speakers and different transmissions.

Yikes.
I actually like it as well but not enough to buy one. Very nice surprisingly roomy interior. An award winning interior at that. Great small town, city car.
MotorWeek TV got almost 40 mpg highway and above average mpg overall.

I'm actually intrigued by the magenta color, will have to see how it looks in person... And would be something few have. If I had the money, I'd buy one like that for my wife.
So my beloved Blue Topaz is going away? Meh. Hope the Cool Blue is an acceptable substitute.

Not sure if the orange was stupid but I did note in all eleven exterior color choices not a single one appears to be a yellow.

That is why one should always buy among the first off the line. That way, when changes (which always occur) in the following model year, a person does not need to feel like they missed out on something good.
Of course one could always wait until desired features are available, whether it takes a year or three or more. That is what I am doing regarding the StingRay.
