That car is a bit too much for me . You can also see that it shares styling cues from the Pontiac g8 and gto . Good on gm for coming up with a car to compete against other full size Rwd performance sedan .
I DO however like the new Impala and I positively hate large sedans with a passion.
I really wish someone would make a 4 door sedan that's around 3000lbs comes with a manual gets decent gas mileage but is still fun to drive, RWD and with a base price of around 25k. The closest you can come to that is a bmw 3 series.
Yep, if only there were some way to avoid paying the extra $7k for that blue and white checkerboard. The Dodge Charger is in the price range, but no manual trans.
Of course, if you're just tired of being pulled around by the tire with the least traction, you can go AWD and get a Subaru Impreza. The base model's engine is still really decent, 5-speed manual, comes in way under budget, gets ~35MPG highway, weighs in at 2900 lbs. That's what I'd end up settling for, personally. It was the runner-up in my car shopping, but I was on a budget and wanted the Sonic's superior gas mileage. As you've seen, it's pretty impossible to beat if you want something that powers the rear wheels.
Uhh.... isn't this the same thing as the Pontiac GTO that GM brought over from Australia a few years ago?

they certainly are sharp but the chrome accent pieces just make it a little gawdy
