The parts guy told me it doesn't include labor. Perhaps this specific dealer was trying to get some more cash out of my pocket. If you are going to get the Borla from the dealer I would just spend the small price increase for the GM performance exhaust with tune (turbo stage kit). It's the same exhaust plus it'll give you a tiny bit of extra power.
Also, I believe the price DOES include labor. Mine was like $995 or something installed, then a little cheaper with an employee discount. If it doesn't include labor, the labor for installing an exhaust is very minimal.
They have a bigger turbo kit? I didn't see that in the catalog..... what's the part number?I was wrong! According to Chevy Accessories, the Borla is $705 installed, and the GM Exhaust with tune is $995. Both say it does not include labor.
I was confused; the GM employee pricing is a little different. According to Gmpricing, the price of the "turbo upgrade kit is $952 Installed. I distinctly remember my dealer trying to argue that the price didn't reflect installation and I called BS until he gave up. It says $1090 installed before discount, so that suggests labor is around $95.

Has anyone heard the Borla catback? What does it sound like?
so does anybody know if the gm stake 1 kit sounds the same as the borla cat back from gm ? i would think the ecm recalibration might make the exhaust sound different. i like the sound of the borla and im looking into purchasing the gm performance exhaust with the tune . but if it sounds like garbage i may go another route. ive been searching the web for sound clips of the gm stake 1 kit but so far i can only find borla cat back sound clips.
