Ouuu. Valid question!I mean that's cool and all, do you happen to know how many different variations and the price range of H11 JM Astar LED bulbs there are? Did he buy the cheapies? Did he splurge? Inquiring minds want to know!
Just found out yesterday that my rear passenger side brake bulb is partially out. I bought the JDM Astar projectors. The projected end is out, the rest is working fineOn page 1 Tech_God posted:

I got mine from Amazon, the seller is "JDM AStar", their bulbs are good, warrantied, bright as hell, and priced well too.<br />

Did anyone mount the back resistors to the turn signals? If so where did you mount it.
I did not. I got different bulbs and they don't hyper flash.Did anyone mount the back resistors to the turn signals? If so where did you mount it.

I'll have to pull the bulb and send you a pic later. But I think I got them from either Amazon or ebay. If I'm not mistaken, they are technically not the correct bulb but they function exactly as they should. I order a correct set for the front so they would match but the hole to insert the bulb into the housing was to small.Ouuu tell me more. Whatd you buy? And from wherr?
Then only thing I don't like about this whole LED change is the load resistor. Yes I'm sure it's simple and safe. But I doubt myself lol.

Hmmm should you have the time it'd be appreciated lol. Or if ur amazon/ebay history still has it. I'd be interested. Or I guess it's the resistor path for me.I'll have to pull the bulb and send you a pic later. But I think I got them from either Amazon or ebay. Yeah I definitely get you the links and a pic. I need to make sure I get you the correct link so you don't have the same problem that I had with one of the sellers.Hmmm should you have the time it'd be appreciated lol. Man I'm happy @Tech_God made this post

I've had the bulbs is probably in September of last year and they're still working goodThat'd be interesting to know what bulb you used, depends on how much power they're drawing/expecting to know if it's gonna be perfectly reliable. That could work out very well and make the "hardest" part if the install very easy.
As for safety of the resistors, it is very simple and it is safe, just don't mount them to plastic since they get hot lol.
