I'm too chicken to DIY this even though I watched a video on putting a plastic bag behind to completely cover the brakes... local guy who does this all day long removes all wheels from car and sprays 5 coats for $300.
I'd do it if I knew it would last me 2 year or so, but seeing as how you can peel it off with a simple fingernail pull I'm weary to have it done. I like that you can pull it off and you're not altering the wheels permanently, but Plastidip seems like it's for hobbyists who want to give their car a new look a few times per year DIY-ing it.
I'll still watch all the YouTube videos and think about it as a maybe...
