What is lug nut size
Glad this helped! I'd be interested to see how the 15"s look.
Different metalizers for a chameleon look and all examples were quite impressive!
The Chameleon effect is from Pearls, not from metalizers. Just for clarification.
I think I'll go with Blaze Yellow for the brake caliper (being very careful to not paint MOVING PARTS - complete dissembley required).
Not only will the Blaze yellow fade fast on hot calipers, but seeing how plastidip is not made for heat, you would be creating a firehazard. Use High-Heat paint on calipers.
Additionally, complete disassembly is not needed to paint calipers. The easiest way is to to take them off the rotor, mask up the lines, piston, and other moving parts, and paint away.
Just beware the blaze yellow is going to fade really fast on the hot calipers. I would order the full spectrum daytona yellow. Sprays better and will not fade. Also doesnt need a base coat.
Actually going from rims to brake calipers seems to make more sense if it was a different thread instead of this one about wheels. Sorry about that.
@Sonic007, thank you for your suggestion of a more heat resistant paint. Instead of only citing a problem, you suggest a better idea and for that advice, thanks! Yeah I don't want to waste product on whats not going to last long and/or catch on fire.
I'll see what Datona Yellow looks like and will get back to you. opcorn:
I am curious as to why it is called plastidip if it is sprayed on with a can?
