In a former life, I drove a slightly modded 97 Cherokee all over the US to go wheeling. Later on, I gave up 4x4'in for off road motorcycles.

I "suffer" from a weird combination of ADHD and OCD, so it seems like everything ends up being a hobby that I don't have time for.

Here's one of my hobbies that I have had the chance to do recently.
Rallying!
I participated in the Rally of the Tall Pines

I've watched rallying on TV since I was a teenager. I've participated in TSD rallies for the last few years. I have a 2003 Subaru Impreza that I use for these events, just because it still works and I don't have to worry about it on gravel roads. The Sonic would be perfectly fine for these types of events, and I bought it with the idea that it will be a perfect replacement for when the subaru is busted.
Here's a pic of my Subaru, during Recce at the rally mentioned above.
Recce is just a pre run of the entire course the day before the event. You get to drive all of the roads that include forest roads, logging roads, rocks, roots and river crossings!
I was the co-driver for a team called Team Kovacs Rally. It was the first time either one of us had participated in the event. It was such a great time and extremely challenging. The roads were solid ice, with 3 inches of snow on top of that ice. Very slippery and challenging. Only 15 cars finished out of 37. We had a small off and hit a tree on Stage 5.

And finally, I would so love to be able to prepare my Sonic to enter one of these rallies. I think it is well suited for the job! Heck, if this car can finish and get second place overall, then I am sure that the Sonic would do a great job too.

I have very unrelated hobbies that makes for some interesting times, in my free time I:
-Play bass guitar
-DJ (It used to be a job, now it is just on the side)
-Ride my motorcycle (for the whopping 4 months I can here :blankface: )
-Ski
-Run (mostly 5 and 10k's, some half marathons)
-Play vidya games
-Play paintball
Until recently there wasn't much time for hobbies, nursing school was all I did for a few years but now that I'm done there is all sorts of free time :banana:

With you on that. Outside of all my ourdoor hobbies, guns and knives are up there.
They totally are.
The pictured one is a 4-Speed Manual and a Friend and I are trying to hop it up a bit. We are looking at multi-valve heads that may fit it and trying to figure out where we could add an oil cooler to the bike. It's an Air-Cooled 4-Stroke. My club used to do a lot of tuneing on the 2-Stroke version of the bike, I've got one that's awaiting new bearings that was bored, stroked and re-geared and was a lot of fun till I lost my flywheel side bearing during a Scooter Rally. Then I got to learn how to tow a trailer through the mountains behind a friends van while he rode and my bike was on the trailer
It's got the Clutch on the left grip like a motorcycle except to shift it the entire left grip twists. Front brake is on the right grip and the rear brake is operated by a pedal for the right foot.
Some days I'll hop between my Motorcycle, Shifty Scooter and Automatic Scooter and it can take a few miles before I acclimate to the various control schemes.
Right now the Shifty scooter needs a valve spring so it's out of commission, the Motorcycle needs swing arm bushings and I've loaned the Automatic scooter to a friend so my new Sonic is where it's at for me transportation wise.
