What Does the Eco Light Mean?

While driving home today the sun was behind me and I could see all the imprints of the lights on the hud. I noticed this light imprint that read "eco" The light has never turned on, but I don't really know what it would mean.

Does anyone have any idea what the eco light means? I looked on my iPhone Chevy app and in the lights section it didn't show it.

I searched the entire Owners Manual and it's not in there. Maybe it's a feature never released.

The conclusion reached last fall is this is a feature not yet released.

It´s probably there for a possible hybrid version of the car.

Definitely not the same as the gauge "pod" in the Spark. The Spark has an analog speedo and a digital tach which is exactly opposite of how the Sonic is laid out. The pods are different sizes too.

The Sonic is sold globally with different powertrain configurations. However, many parts are shared, the IP face plate being one of them. The ECO light is not applicable to our version of the Sonic.
